Hi I am new to this forum as only recently been diagnosed.
Has anyone tried Hydrogen water please? I sent off for a bottle but now wondering if it’s just a marketing gimmick as I haven’t experienced any benefits whatsoever and can’t find any independent research on the subject.

Hello Barb, Welcome. I think someone else was on here on that subject a while ago, but I cannot find it. If memory serves there is lot of hype, but no medically proven benefit. Best wishes B

Hi Barb,I asked this question a few months ago. I ended up checking with my renal team who did not seem keen on it. They said there was no evidence to support the benefits so I didn’t bother trying it.
I’d back the above, unless it’s recommended by the renal team, I’m not messing with any hype that may not work or possibly make things worse
I’m stage 5, egfr 14 and falling regularly now, and my plan is to follow the dietician advice, take my meds, and for exercise use resistance bands and walk as much as possible I can a week to keep myself as healthy as possible around the kidneys giving up
