Just saw an add on Facebook about Astaxanthin and how it helps CKD. Has anyone tried this or have any information or research about of its effective. Its hard to know what to trust on social media.
Astaxanthin appears to be a bit of a cure-all and has not been monitored or authorised by the authorities in the UK. There seem to be alot of ‘it might help’ and it may be beneficial’ commets attached to it.I would be very careful and discuss with your GP or Nephrologist before going near it. Best wishes B
