Hi all! I crash landed into diagnosis less than 2 weeks ago so it has all been a whirlwind. I never expected anything like it and thought I just had a stomach concern and was a little under the weather but the diagnosis is ESRF. I am only 31 and didn’t even think anything like this could happen to me. Looking at all the symptoms now it was literally staring me in the face, I just didn’t see it. Nurses have been telling me some of my bloods and stats were the highest they had seen and yet I was just getting on with life until I couldn’t cope any longer! I don’t think it has even sunk in properly yet but trying to start off as positive as I can. I will admit I am scared about the journey to come however. I feel I have information overload and everything has been moving so fast. It’s just good to know I’m not alone - the community seems so wonderful.
Really sorry to hear what you are going through.. it must be a shock. I hope you have some support. Make sure you ask for time with GP and specialist to ask questions you need answering.
You can get through this.. keep going! God bless you
