Can anyone recommend a good travel insurance company for people with pre-existing health conditions?
Hello Michael. I always used Insure & Go they we always quite reasonable. When I got to my late 70’s the premium got a lot more expensive and now at my 80th year I cannot get a premium that is not extortionate anywhere. Age and condition is against me. Good luck. Best wishes B
Hi Michael
Kidney Care UK have some really good links on their website to companies that will insure people with underlying medical conditions. I’ve used them in the past.

We have used All Clear, my husband has an artificial heart valve as well as a transplanted kidney.
Following my transplant 18 months ago I found it very difficult to find a provider that would cover me, I eventually got annual world wide with Avanti although at a fairly high cost but as we have a number of holidays this year the cost per holiday is reasonable. It does exclude North and South America and the Caribbean though.
Hello, Are you covered for South East Asia ? Thanks
I have many medical conditions and travel insurance is extremely high priced. I have found that due to the “risk” calculated by the insurances providers, it works out more affordable if I pay extra for flexible flight tickets and hotel stays. I.e. I can cancel hotels and flights and get a full refund.
This means when I get a quote for travel insurance very close to the start of my holiday, the quotes are MUCH cheaper as I’ve removed the risk of cancellation to the insurance provider.
