When I’m feeling stressed, I find it really helps to write down what’s bothering me — almost like a worry list. Getting your thoughts out of your head and onto paper can make them feel lighter and more manageable. Even if you’re not sharing them with another person, you’re still releasing them, and that alone can make a big difference. I also find breathing exercises helpful. I know they’re not for everyone, but taking a few slow, steady breaths can really help calm the mind. Another thing that works for me is movement — and I don’t mean walking miles or intense exercise. Even simple chair exercises, stretching, or just gently moving your body can help shift your focus away from the stress for a while. It may be a short-term solution, but sometimes that’s exactly what you need in the moment.
