To the nurses who make a difference every day

It’s International Nurses Day :purple_heart:

Feel free to share a thank you, a thought or a short message for nurses who’ve supported you.

I want to say a massive thank you to the nurses at the manchesyer Royal infirmary urology unit and nephrology nurses who helped my surgeon save my life in 2010 without them I might not be here I had a renal staghorn of 10cm which is a rare type of kidney stone which led to sepsis and was touch and go whether they could get my temperature and infection under control so that I could have the necessary surgery to save my kidneys with their dedication and care they saved my life and my kidney as well which I’ll be forever grateful to them all

It sounds like those nurses made such a huge difference at a really critical time @Aura , and it’s lovely to hear how much their care has stayed with you all these years. I’m so glad you came through it. I’m sure your message will mean a lot to nurses reading :purple_heart: .
