Hi everyone, I joined this community a while back but this is my first time posting.
To answer the question: my son knows he is poorly, but he doesn’t realize the full extent of it yet. It’s such a tough balance. As he gets older, he is naturally becoming more aware of things, but I also want him to just enjoy his childhood as much as he can, without carrying that heavy worry. It’s a constant tightrope walk trying to decide how much to share.
