**Tolvaptan and fluid intake**

Hello, I’ve been on Tolvaptan for the better part of a year now. EGFR has gradually increased to 70 over the year, electrolytes are always normal. My intake for water can range from 7 to 9 litres a day. I’m on here wondering if anybody else is the same? My nephrologist isn’t happy about my intake, and always urges me to reduce it. But when i do i feel ill, i get headaches, super dry mouth and my urine stinks. I understand the risks of overhydration but after doing it for a year i don’t think its a concern any longer. Can anyone shed a light on their own experience? _cheers_
